Note: The search interest columns refer to how many people searched for one chain vs. the other as a topic. Ex. In South Carolina, 75% of the search volume was for Starbucks and 25% was for Dunkin'.
Starbucks Wins Coffee Debate in the Palmetto State
In South Carolina, residents tend to favor Starbucks over Dunkin’ Donuts when it comes to their coffee preference. Starbucks dominates in the Palmetto State with a weighted score of 1.63, surpassing Dunkin’ Donuts’ score of 1.065. The disparity is attributed to the Seattle-based franchise having more locations per 100,00 residents (2.51), outpacing Dunkin’ Donuts’ presence (1.88) in South Carolina.
