BetSouthCarolina.com decided to look at which states across the United States are the most thankful. While it is hard to objectively decipher thankfulness, we found two key statistics to help us with our research.

Along with South Carolina, which other states made the “Most Thankful” list?
Based on this chart, it is fair to determine that residents of the East Coast tend to demonstrate a higher degree of gratitude and appreciation compared to their counterparts located on the West Coast.
And perhaps, they are far less cheap.
Nine states in this list are from the East Coast while one, Nebraska, is the only Midwest state to make the list.
However, South Carolina (in at No. 1 overall!) is also the only southern state to make the top ten rankings.
Residents of the Palmetto State are willingly ready to spend and provide generous tips inside restaurants, speaking volumes of the quality service and food that South Carolina delivers, as previously mentioned. In terms of the state’s average 2022 Tip Ranking, South Carolina is 8th on this list.
South Carolinians also tend to write the eighth most thank-you notes in the country. Whether it is showing appreciation for the South Carolina Gamecocks football team, who are expected to be a top contender in the Southeastern Conference, or the women’s college basketball team, among the premier programs in the country, fans will consistently find ways to show their love.
South Carolina locals deservedly have a right to be proud of this noteworthy stat.
